How we work
Estimates are free. Our crews wrap furniture in pads, cover floors, bring the tools to take beds and tables apart and put them back together, and we match the truck to the size of the job. Short-notice moves are fine when a crew is free. And you can pay digitally.
What you won't see on this site
No made-up founding story, no staff headcount and no badges we can't back up. The reviews here are copied straight from our Google listing, word for word. If you want to know something that isn't on this page, call and ask. We'd rather tell you plainly than dress it up.
Checking a mover, any mover
A few things worth doing before you book anyone. Movers handling moves inside Florida register with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, so look the company up by name. For a move to another state, ask for the company's USDOT number and check it on the FMCSA lookup. Get the estimate in writing, read the valuation terms before signing, and read the low reviews as well as the high ones.
Moving words, explained
A few terms you might hear while planning a move. These explain the basics; your estimate sets out the work you book.
- Moving Company
- A moving company helps get your belongings from your old place to your new one. You agree which jobs it handles, such as packing, loading, driving or unloading, before moving day.
- Relocation
- Relocation is the change from your old home or workplace to a new one, not just the drive. It can include sorting, packing and getting settled, depending on what you need.
- Self Storage
- Self storage is space you rent for your belongings, with access governed by the facility rules. People use it when the keys to the new place do not line up with the old lease, or when there is simply more stuff than room.
- Moving Box
- A moving box is a strong cardboard box built for packing and stacking. Put books in a small one so you can still lift it, and save the big ones for pillows and linens.
- Bubble Wrap
- Bubble wrap is the squishy plastic sheet full of air pockets that helps cushion breakable things. Use it with a suitable box and enough packing material to limit movement inside.
- Packing Tape
- Packing tape is the sticky roll made for sealing cartons. Use it to close the seams of a sound box, and keep the load within what the box can handle.
- Moving Truck
- A moving truck carries furniture and boxes in a cargo area. An enclosed body helps shelter the load during transport, while loading and unloading still need a plan for rain.
