Do you offer packing services?

Yes. We can pack the whole home or just the rooms you pick, like the kitchen and anything fragile, and unpack at the other end.

How far in advance should I book?

As soon as you know your date, especially at the end of the month or if your building needs an elevator reservation. Short notice? Call anyway. If a crew is free, we can help.

Our office is at 226 Dr M.L.K. Jr St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33705. Call (727) 328-4448 to talk about your move.

Yes, piano moving is one of our services. Send us the piano type and a few photos of the stairs and doorways at both homes, and we'll plan it from there.

How moving estimates work

Hourly and flat-rate options. Call (727) 328-4448 for a free estimate.

What affects moving cost?

Cost depends on home size, distance, stairs, packing and date. Get a free written estimate.

Home size and the volume of items being moved.
Distance between pickup and delivery.
Stairs, elevators, parking and other access restrictions.
Packing needs and items requiring special handling.
Your preferred moving date.

Comparing estimates

Use the same inventory and addresses when requesting quotes. Ask what each written estimate includes and how changes to the move would affect cost.

St. Pete things that change the day

Downtown condo buildings often want the freight elevator booked ahead and may set move times. Check with the association and tell us the rules.
Older streets in the Old Northeast and Kenwood can be narrow, with limited room for a truck. Let us know where it can park.
Summer afternoons bring storms. A morning start keeps more of your things dry.
Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30. Keep a little give in your dates if you can.

Every interaction, from arranging our move to the moving day itself, was fantastic! They kept us informed leading up to the move, which was reassuring. We ended up using their services for two moves within a month, and each time was smooth and professional. Kris, Ray, and Marc were not only courteous but also had fantastic attitudes! They were incredibly professional and hardworking on both occasions. My family and I wholeheartedly recommend Karma Movers for anyone in need of moving services!
